Your account and games

Porch uses Supabase to store account identifiers, sign-in email addresses, game participation, game actions, results, and hosting membership status. Apple or Google handles authentication when you choose that sign-in option; Porch does not receive your provider password. Guest play creates an anonymous account identifier.

On your device

Your profile photo and payment handles are stored locally. Games shared with other players include your chosen display name, icon, color, and game activity. Nearby games use local wireless connections; completed offline results can sync to your account when internet access returns.

Purchases and services

Apple processes subscriptions. Porch verifies transaction identifiers and subscription status to provide hosting access. Porch does not receive your card details or transfer money between players. Website hosting providers process connection information needed to serve this site.

Your choices

Joining does not require a subscription. You can decline optional profile information and notification or marketing choices. Account information and game records are retained to provide account access and history. For beta privacy questions or deletion requests, use Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight and identify the account concerned. Deleting the app alone does not delete server records.
